White Sox optioned utilityman Brent Lillibridge to Triple-A Charlotte.
Nice knowin' ya. Lillibridge spent only one day with the team in his latest stint after Clayton Richard was sent packing in the Jake Peavy deal. He'll head back to Charlotte, where he is batting .262 with three homers and 22 RBI.

White Sox recalled utilityman Brent Lillibridge from Triple-A Charlotte.
Lillibridge cracked the Opening Day roster, but rattled off a sorely disappointing .162/.260/.191 batting line with no home runs and no RBI in 68 at-bats, prompting his demotion to Charlotte in mid-May. Back with the big club, he still doesn't carry any fantasy value.

Lillibridge hit .162/.260/.191 with no home runs and no RBI in 68 at-bats. He'll try to get into a groove at the Triple-A level and could be recalled in a few weeks if there's an injury in Chicago.

Jarmaine Dye (hand) may return to the starting lineup Tuesday, according to manager Ozzie Guillen.
Dye was able to take a few swings Monday and is available as a pinch-hitter. The outfielder's hand was bruised after being tagged by an errant Luis Mendoza pitch. Scott Posednik moved to right while Brent Lillibridge is playing center.

With Brian Anderson hurting, Brent Lillibridge is expected to see more action in center field while also backing up Alexei Ramirez at third.
Lillibridge is hitting just .146 in limited action so far, so the White Sox will hope the extra opportunities help him find a groove.
