 Juan Miranda-1B- YankeesSep. 18 - 10:13 am et
Yankees recalled 1B Juan Miranda from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
Miranda hit .290/.369/.498 with 19 home runs and 82 RBI this season in 122 games with Scranton. He's not very versatile, and will struggle for playing time at first base behind Mark Teixeira and Shelley Duncan.

 Juan Miranda-1B - Yankees May. 2 - 3:13 am et

Juan Miranda was pulled from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre's game after one at-bat Friday and could be called up.
As a result of Nick Swisher's injury, it looks like the Yankees will add Miranda and send down a reliever, perhaps Edwar Ramirez. Unfortunately for Miranda, he's not an option in the outfield and neither is Hideki Matsui, leaving him with little to do.

 Juan Miranda-1B - Yankees Apr. 18 - 3:53 pm et

Yankees optioned first baseman Juan Miranda to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
It seems that a bullpen arm is a more pressing need at this time. Miranda only had a one-day stay on the Yankees roster, as they optioned him to bring up pitcher Anthony Claggett.
 Juan Miranda-1B - Yankees Apr. 17 - 11:25 am et

Yankees recalled first baseman Juan Miranda from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
The Yanks felt they needed another bench player with Mark Teixeira and Hideki Matsui bothered by minor injuries. Miranda went 4-for-10 as a September call up last season, but he shouldn't register on fantasy radars.
