Lars Anderson went 3-for-5 with a double, five RBI and a walk for Double-A Portland on Sunday.
Portland had a 10- and a five-run inning in the game, yet lost 20-15 to the Giants' Connecticut affiliate, which had an eight-run third and a seven-run eighth. The 21-year-old Anderson isn't exactly tearing it up so far this season, but his .306/.353/.484 line can only be considered a disappointment because he hit .316/.436/.526 in 41 games after a promotion to Double-A last year. |
