 Brian Buscher-3B- TwinsNov. 3 - 1:00 pm et
Twins sent infielder Brian Buscher outright to Triple-A Rochester.
The move takes him off the 40-man roster and gives Buscher an opportunity to become a minor league free agent. Buscher has nice on-base skills and experience at either infielder corner, but as a poor defensive third baseman with a .266/.343/.356 career line in 502 plate appearances he's expendable.

 Brian Buscher-3B - Twins Oct. 10 - 1:27 pm et

Twins added infielder Brian Buscher to the ALDS roster after an injury to Matt Tolbert.
Tolbert left Friday's Game 2 with a strained left oblique. Buscher batted .235/.360/.316 with two homers and 12 RBI in 136 at-bats this season. He'll provide infield depth for Ron Gardenhire.
 Justin Morneau-1B - Twins Sep. 15 - 12:37 am et

The Twins said after Monday's game that Justin Morneau will miss the rest of the season with a stress fracture in his lower back.
Well, that certainly explains why his season turned so sour in a hurry. Carlos Gomez, Delmon Young, Brian Buscher and Justin Huber all figure to divide up Morneau's at-bats, with Michael Cuddyer frequently starting at first base. It probably doesn't make Gomez or Young worth using in mixed leagues, but Buscher now has some value in AL-only leagues. Joe Mauer can look forward to being walked a whole bunch in the coming weeks.
 Brian Buscher-3B - Twins Sep. 1 - 5:05 pm et

Twins recalled infielder Brian Buscher from Triple-A Rochester.
Buscher was send down to Rochester after the Twins acquired Orlando Cabrera at the non-waiver deadline. He returns to a .227/.350/.311 line with two homers and 11 RBI in 119 at-bats with the Twins this season.
 Brian Buscher-3B - Twins Aug. 1 - 3:45 pm et

Twins optioned infielder Brian Buscher to Triple-A Rochester.
Buscher was sent down in order to make room for Orlando Cabrera on the 25-man roster. Buscher batted .227/.350/.311 with two home runs and 11 RBI in 119 at-bats this season. He'll return in September.
 Joe Crede-3B - Twins Jun. 2 - 6:13 pm et

Joe Crede (bruised knee) is out of the starting lineup on Tuesday.
Crede planned to go through batting practice on Tuesday and should be able to return to action once the swelling subsides. Brian Buscher got the start at third base on Tuesday.
