
Scott Richmond was smoked for five runs over two-plus innings in an 11-4 loss to the Rays on Friday night.
Richmond tossed two scoreless frames to start the game, but it all came apart at the seams in the third as he gave up five straight hits without recording an out. All told, he allowed seven hits while walking one and striking out two. Richmond has a 8.92 ERA in eight starts since coming off the disabled list. Now 6-10 with a 5.31 ERA, Richmond has lost six straight decisions.
