 Ryan Rohlinger-3B - Giants Aug. 25 - 7:24 pm et

Giants recalled third baseman Ryan Rohlinger from Triple-A Fresno.
Rohlinger failed to make the 25-man roster this spring despite blasting four home runs and 11 RBI in 26 at-bats. He was hitting .281/.351/.468 with 16 homers and 78 RBI for the Fresno Grizzlies.
 Ryan Rohlinger-3B - Giants Mar. 24 - 2:51 pm et

Giants optioned 3B Ryan Rohlinger, RHP Billy Sadler, RHP Waldis Joaquin and SS Brian Bocock to Triple-A Fresno; reassigned 1B Scott McClain to minor league camp.
Rohlinger had four homers and 11 RBI in just 26 at-bats, but he was never a candidate to break camp with the Giants. He needs to hope the team sours on Pablo Sandoval's defense at third base if he's going to get a shot. Joaquin had a 2.08 ERA in 8 2/3 innings this spring to help put himself in position for a midseason callup.
 Ryan Rohlinger-3B - Giants Mar. 7 - 6:31 pm et

Ryan Rohlinger homered on a second straight day when he hit a three-run shot Saturday off the Rockies' Steven Register.
Rohlinger spent the final six weeks of last season in the majors, but he hasn't been talked about at all as a candidate to win a spot on the Giants this spring. He's off to a 3-for-6 start.
