 Travis Ishikawa-1B- GiantsAug. 26 - 1:13 am et
Travis Ishikawa was 2-for-4 with a go-ahead three-run homer in a win over the Diamondbacks on Tuesday night.
After scoring on a wild pitch by Dan Haren in the seventh, Ishikawa slugged a go-ahead three-run homer off Jon Rauch to put the Giants ahead for good. With the arrival of Ryan Garko, Ishikawa's production has fallen off a bit (batting just .200 with two homers), look for him to continue to be in the lineup against most right-handers.

 Ryan Garko-1B - Mariners Jul. 27 - 11:13 pm et

Giants acquired 1B Ryan Garko from the Indians for LHP Scott Barnes.
Garko provides a substantial offensive upgrade over Travis Ishikawa, especially against left-handed hitters. The 28-year-old was batting .285/.362/.464 in Cleveland with 11 home runs and 39 RBI. He's cheap, and under team control through 2012. Garko might not be the answer to San Francisco's offensive struggles, but he'll no doubt help.
 Travis Ishikawa-1B - Giants Jul. 10 - 1:02 am et

Travis Ishikawa went 3-for-4 with a home run in San Francisco's victory over the Padres on Thursday night.
He has hits in 12 of his past 13 games, and is hitting .327 during that span. The homer was his seventh in 183 at-bats.
 Travis Ishikawa-1B - Giants Jun. 29 - 11:01 pm et

Travis Ishikawa hit a three-run blast in the fourth inning of Monday night's victory over the Cardinals.
Ishikawa filled in nicely for Rich Aurilia, who was placed on the bereavement list Monday morning to attend memorial services for his father. Ishikawa also displayed a slick glove in the field and may be in line for more second-half playing time if he fares well over these next three or four games. As it stands, he's batting .259 this season with five home runs and 24 RBI through 147 at-bats.
 Rich Aurilia-1B - Giants Jun. 23 - 4:05 pm et

Rich Aurilia will go on the bereavement list early next week to attend memorial services for his father, who passed away Thursday.
Aurilia will fly to Phoenix Sunday as the rest of his Giants teammates head toward St. Louis. He could miss up to four days, with Travis Ishikawa filling in.

 Pablo Sandoval-3B - Giants Jun. 17 - 6:23 pm et

Pablo Sandoval made his first start of the month at third base Wednesday and went 0-for-3 with a walk against the Angels.
Sandoval has been nursing a sore elbow that limited him to first base. With Sandoval able to move across the diamond, the Giants have Travis Ishikawa a start at first base today and he went 2-for-3 with a homer. Ishikawa could be in line for more playing time now.
