The Kansas City Royals will acquire RHP Eric Basurto from the Florida Marlins to complete the Ross Gload trade from April 3.
Basurto, 23, has not pitched so far this year. In 2008, Basurto had a 1.64 ERA in 44 innings for Single-A. He struck out 36 and walked 26. He's not likely to ever see the majors. |
