Kevin Harvick Inc. announced today Procter and Gamble along with retail partner Kroger Food Stores will feature their family of brands across the sheet metal of four-time Truck Series champion Ron Hornaday’s No. 33 Chevrolet at Bristol.
The familiar yellow, blue, and orange circle will adorn the hood and quarter panels along with Kroger Food Stores and Procter and Gambles other featured brands, Bounce, Iams, Pringles, Charmin, Bounty and Downy. Tide has a storied history in NASCAR as a sponsor going all the way back to their days with Darrell Waltrip. KHI co-owner Kevin Harvick will also have the opportunity to climb behind the wheel of the Tide ride in 2010 at both Martinsville (Va.) Speedway Truck Series events. -SpeedwayMedia.com

Defending and four-time series champion Ron Hornaday Jr. certainly made up for finishing second to rival Johnny Benson in 2008 in one of the closest battles for the title in the series.

Ron Hornaday Jr. was picked as the top NASCAR Camping World Truck Series driver of the decade, followed by Todd Bodine and Johnny Benson.
Hornaday is the series’ first four-time champion and won a pair of NCWTS titles during the decade – 2007 and ‘09. He has the most series wins (20) in the decade and set a modern-era record for consecutive wins (five) this past season. Kevin Harvick Inc. announced today that Dave Fuge and Doug George have joined the organization’s Truck Series program.
Fuge will lead the No. 33 Longhorn Chevrolet Silverado driven by four-time Truck Series champion Ron Hornaday and George will serve as crew chief of the No. 2 Truck which will feature several NASCAR Sprint Cup Series drivers throughout the 2010 season. Fuge joins KHI as a two-time Truck Series championship team owner with Xpress Motorsports in 2002 and 2003 with drivers Mike Bliss and Travis Kvapil.

Kevin Harvick Inc. (KHI) announced today that Rick Ren, crew chief of the No. 33 truck driven by four-time Truck Series champion Ron Hornaday, has left the organization to pursue management opportunities within the sport.
"Ron (Hornaday) and Rick (Ren) have been a powerful combination over the last few years in the Truck Series," said KHI co-owner Kevin Harvick. "With success comes opportunity and we wish him well in the next step of his career. Harvick said an announcement regarding Hornaday’s crew chief for 2010 could be expected as early as next week. Hornaday has won two out of the last three Truck Series championships and is the first four-time champion (2009, 2007, 1998, 1996) in Truck Series’ history.

Mahle Clevite Inc. has announced the Mahle Engine Builder of the Year for the Nationwide and Camping World Truck series.
The award is presented to the engine builder in each series who has accumulated the most points, based on qualifying, laps lead and finishing position. In the Truck Series, the award went to Pro Motor Engines owner Mark Smith for the second consecutive year. Smith was recognized for his work on the Kevin Harvick Inc.
