Kenny Wallace will make the 800th start of his NASCAR national series career Friday night in the Virginia 529 College Savings 250, placing him 17th on the all-time list.
Wallace became only the third driver to surpass 400 starts in the NASCAR Nationwide Series last year. His national series start totals: 444 NASCAR Nationwide, 344 NASCAR Sprint Cup and 11 NASCAR Camping World Truck. His accomplishments in the NASCAR Nationwide Series are more than solid with nine wins, 64 top fives, 159 top 10s and 10 poles. He’s finished in the top 10 in the standings in eight of the 11 seasons he’s competed full time and has been named the series’ Most Popular Driver a record three times. This weekend’s NASCAR Nationwide Series event at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve marks a special occasion for Kenny "The Hermanator" Wallace, as the No. 28 Chevrolet Impala SS will sport its Wallace-designed "Thank You Fans!" livery at the 2.71-mile road course.
The "Thank You Fans!" Chevy will be adorned with over 5,000 names of fans who have participated in a special one-time program. Originally founded online by Wallace’s Facebook and social networking community, the program has turned into one of the most successful fan-supported sponsorships in the history of NASCAR with each fan donating at least $20 to the cause. - WSM Group PR

Kenny Wallace scored his best 2009 finish in the July 25th Nationwide Series race at O'Reilly Raceway Park at Indianapolis.
The No. 28 U.S. Border Patrol Chevrolet driver started 24th in the lineup and finished the Kroger 200 in 10th place. This was Wallace's first top 10 finish of the year. He moved up one spot to 14th in the 2009 NNS championship standings after this event.

Kenny Wallace makes the most improvement in the Nationwide Series after this weekend’s race.
Wallace’s 20th place finish in the Nationwide Series Camping World RV Sales 200 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway was 13 places better than his last NNS finish. This earned the No. 28 U.S. Border Patrol Chevrolet driver the Featherlite "Most Improved Driver" award. Wallace is currently 14th in the 2009 Nationwide Series point standings after this event.

Kenny Wallace drops from the Top 10 in points after the Nationwide Series O’Reilly 300 at the Texas Motor Speedway.
