Richard Childress Racing has extended its partnership agreement with BB&T Corporation (to be) primary sponsor for eight races and the all-star race and a major associate sponsor of Clint Bowyer’s No. 33 Chevrolet Impala for the remaining 28 races in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series.
The Winston-Salem, N.C.-based corporation will also retain its status as the Official Bank of Richard Childress Racing.

In four NASCAR Sprint Cup Series starts at Homestead-Miami Speedway, Clint Bowyer boasts one top-five and two top-10 finishes.
His best finish, fifth, came when the series most recently visited the 1.5-mile oval last November. The Emporia, Kan., native has an average starting position of 18.7 and an average finish of 18th. His only finish outside the top 10 came in 2007 when a broken exhaust pipe which, ultimately, resulted in a transmission failure, due to excessive heat, left him 39th. -Richard Childress Racing

Clint Bowyer and the No. 33 Cheerios Chevrolet team win the Pit Road Precision Award in the November 15th Sprint Cup Checker O’Reilly Auto Parts 500 at Phoenix International Raceway.
The Tissot "Pit Road Precision Award" is given to the eligible driver who has spent the least amount of time on pit road and has finished on the lead lap. Bowyer earned $5,000 and a Tissot watch since the No. 33 clocked a time of 170.217 seconds and finished on the lead lap in 7th. Bowyer is currently 15th in the 2009 Sprint Cup point standings.

In eight NASCAR Sprint Cup Series starts at Phoenix, Clint Bowyer boasts two top-five finishes.
His best finish, second, came in the April 2008 running of the 312-lap event. The Emporia, Kan., native has completed all but nine laps of competition at the desert oval and has an average finish of 16.6. -Richard Childress Racing

Clint Bowyer leads the first practice for the November 8th Sprint Cup Dickies 500 at Texas Motor Speedway.
Bowyer’s lap of 189.381 mph in the No. 33 Cheerios/Hamburger Helper Chevrolet was the quickest of the 47 cars out on the track for the first practice leading to Sunday’s race. No. 16 Greg Biffle, No. 48 Jimmie Johnson, No. 24 Jeff Gordon and No. 99 Carl Edwards were the rest of the top 5 on the speed chart. No. 34 John Andretti, at 177.743 mph, was the slowest.

Clint Bowyer was at the top of the speed chart in the Happy Hour practice leading to Sunday’s Sprint Cup AMP Energy 500 at Talladega Superspeedway.
Bowyer, driving the No. 33 BB&T Chevrolet, put up a 193.154 mph lap in the final practice. No. 55 Michael Waltrip, No. 48 Jimmie Johnson, No. 43 Reed Sorenson and No. 2 Kurt Busch were the rest of the top 5 in that session. Sam Hornish Jr., at 178.490 mph in the No. 77 Dodge, was the slowest.
