Kurt Busch and his Steve Addington-led Penske Racing No. 2 Team will be racing their "PRS-572" Dodge Charger in this weekend’s Bud Shootout.
The "572 car" is the same Miller Lite Dodge that Busch and crew raced in last year’s Daytona 500 and has become the Daytona "workhorse" in recent years. The team first rolled out this car in the 2008 Coke Zero 400 at Daytona, where Busch started 36th, but blasted through the field to finish fourth. The team used the same car during the 2009 edition of Speed Weeks. Busch drove from a 22nd-place start to finish sixth in the 2/12/09 Gatorade Duel #1. He drove the "572" from a 13th-place start to a 10th-place finish in the 2/15/09 Daytona 500. -Tom Roberts PR
