The Clippers expect Blake Griffin (knee) to return for summer workouts.
The 4-6 month timetable remains intact. According to the doctor that performed the two-part patellar tendon surgery, it "couldn't have gone better." We'll hope to get a look at Griffin in Summer League before projecting his impact next season.

 Blake Griffin-F - Clippers Jan. 20 - 3:18 pm et

Blake Griffin underwent successful knee surgery on Wednesday.
We don't have an updated timetable yet, but earlier estimates suggested he would be sidelined for 4-6 months. Hopefully he'll be ready to get back on the court this sumer in preparation for his NBA debut in 2010-11.

 Marcus Camby-F/C - Clippers Jan. 18 - 7:02 pm et

Marcus Camby hit 7-of-12 shots for 17 points, 14 rebounds, four assists, two steals and three blocks in Monday's win.
Nice. Camby is locked and loaded as long as he can stay healthy for the Clippers, who will not have the services of Blake Griffin this season.
 Blake Griffin-F - Clippers Jan. 13 - 3:24 pm et

The Clippers have announced that Blake Griffin will undergo surgery on his left patella, which will force him to miss the next 4-to-6 months and effectively end his season.
Wow. What a disappointment. Griffin had recently been cleared to accelerate his rehabilitation from the fractured patella he suffered last October, and was expected to return to action in late January. But he saw a specialist Tuesday after complaining of discomfort in the injured knee, and the doctor determined that the patella was not healing satisfactorily and required additional surgery. The injury is not considered career-threatening, but any fantasy value Griffin held will now have to be deferred to next season.

 Blake Griffin-F - Clippers Jan. 9 - 8:06 pm et

Clippers rookie Blake Griffin (knee) might begin running and shooting at practice later this week, according to coach Mike Dunleavy.
There's still no target date for when he'll join contact drills or full practices, but (hopefully) should make his debut sometime in late January.

Though an earlier report indicated that the Clippers are targeting Jan. 20 for Blake Griffin's return, beat writer Lisa Dillman reports that the Clips "insist they don't have [that] date circled."
According to Dillman, the Clippers "Maintain [there are] far too many checkpoints for [Griffin] to get past for anyone to really know now." It's possible that Griffin will still return on or around Jan. 20, but fantasy owners should be prepared for the No. 1 draft pick to potentially be out a little bit beyond that date.
