Brandon Jennings hit just 8-of-23 shots but scored 19 of his 22 points in the second half of Friday's game to help the Bucks beat the Knicks.
He added eight assists and just two turnovers, but his horrendous shooting usually negates the good things he does. Jennings started the game wearing black shoes, but switched up to a pair of red & white ones at halftime, which was clearly the reason for his big second half. Um, Brandon, please get the shoes right at the start of the remaining games in the second half of your season. Deal?

Derrick Rose, having been selected as an All-Star reserve, has been excused from playing in the 2010 T-Mobile Rookie Challenge & Youth Jam.
Rose will be replaced by Warriors guard Anthony Morrow. In addition, the Chicago guard will also face-off against Steve Nash, Brandon Jennings, and Deron Williams in the Taco Bell Skills Challenge.

Brandon Jennings, the reigning Eastern Conference Rookie of the Month, was held to just two points on 1-of-7 shooting in Tuesday's ugly loss to the Magic.
Jennings had four assists and zero turnovers, but his struggles typified the Bucks offense tonight -- nobody scored more than 13 points, they shot 36% from the field, and made a ridiculous 9-of-19 free throws. They'll get a chance for redemption vs. the Knicks on Friday.

The Bucks' win over the Heat on Monday moved them two games out of the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference -- currently occupied by Miami.
Brandon Jennings was just named Rookie of the Month for January, and Bucks' fans will love this tidbit from Frank Madden over at Brewhoop.com -- "[Milwaukee's] 50.7% shooting for the game marked the third time in five games they've cracked the 50% mark--pretty significant improvement for a team that managed that feat just twice in the season's first 41 games."

Brandon Jennings hit the game-winner on Wednesday and ended up with 18 points and seven assists on 8-for-18 shooting.
Jennings started off 0-for-5 and it was looking like yet another miserable performance from the field. But he turned it around in the second half and he continues to take and make big shots for the Bucks. Still, his horrid field-goal percentage is here to stay.
