Al Jefferson has rejoined the Timberwolves and will be ready to play against the Rockets on Wednesday.
Jefferson had gone to see his grandmother, who died on Thursday afternoon. "She was the reason why I am the man I am today," he said.

Al Jefferson will miss the Timberwolves' next two games because his grandmother recently passed away.
Jefferson has been somewhat inconsistent this season while recovering from February's knee surgery, but is still averaging 15.1 points and 6.1 rebounds, and his absence is a big blow to fantasy owners. Jefferson is expected to be back with the team for next Wednesday's game against the Rockets.
