 J.R. Smith-G/F- NuggetsFeb. 9 - 1:11 pm et
J.R. Smith says he will play through his mildly sprained right shoulder on Tuesday night.
Smith's opportunities will take a hit with Carmelo Anthony (ankle) expected back and his shoulder sore, but nothing can stop J.R. from jacking up shots. He's making 1.9 3-pointers per game although he shoots the trey at a 33.3 percent clip. We'd be comfortable starting him as he actually hurt the shoulder on Friday but still logged 32 minutes on Saturday.

 J.R. Smith-G/F - Nuggets Feb. 6 - 1:18 am et

J.R. Smith hit 11-of-17 shots and three 3-pointers for 27 points, four rebounds, four assists and a steal in Friday's win over the Lakers.
Smith is infuriatingly inconsistent but is averaging nearly 17 points and three 3-pointers over his last five games. Keep plugging him into your lineup, and be prepared to take the off nights along with the big lines.
 J.R. Smith-G/F - Nuggets Jan. 31 - 4:07 pm et

J.R. Smith scored 18 points on 5-of-9 shooting with three 3-point buckets, three rebounds, three assists, and a steal on Sunday against the Spurs.
After suspension talks probably put him on most owners' benches this week, he played well enough that he'll probably be activated in most formats next week. Normally we'd express concern about his ability to produce two weeks in row, but a four-game week with the Kings, Suns, Lakers, and Jazz actually lines up well for him.
 J.R. Smith-G/F - Nuggets Jan. 29 - 11:46 pm et

J.R. Smith hit five 3-point shots on Friday to finish with 18 points on 6-of-15 shooting with three rebounds, no assists, and two steals.
It isn't a great showing, but if you asked us if we'd take the week he has had last week when he was staring down the barrel of a suspension -- we'd have jumped at it. As usual, his ability to sustain his value is what will make owning him worth it or not.
 J.R. Smith-G/F - Nuggets Jan. 27 - 11:50 pm et

Fresh off a meeting with coach George Karl about his attitude, J.R. Smith had 22 points, five rebounds, three steals and three treys on Wednesday.
Perhaps Karl should sit Smith down more often. His 38 minutes marked a season-high and Smith is firmly out of the doghouse. Carmelo Anthony's return from an ankle injury will hurt, but Smith is back on track.
 J.R. Smith-G/F - Nuggets Jan. 27 - 9:05 am et

After a meeting with George Karl on Monday, J.R. Smith pledged to change his attitude in the future.
"Just my attitude toward the game. I've got to control my body language. And stay focused," Smith said. The streaky guard was nearly suspended due to his actions on Saturday when he sulked on the bench. As a fantasy option, he's a tough player to own right now because of his spotty play.
