Delonte West (finger) likely will not play against the Nets on Tuesday.
With only one more game to go before the All-Star break, it looks like we won't see Delonte until Feb. 18. The Cavs just don't have any motivation to rush West with Daniel Gibson playing so well. Mo Williams is due back at the end of February, so West's window for value is almost completely shut.

Delonte West (finger) is expected to play vs. the Nets on Tuesday, though he'll come off the bench behind Daniel Gibson for now.
He looked fine in practice and fellow guard Mo Williams said he will play. Owners should still probably avoid him until we've seen him in action -- the same probably goes for Gibson, who will surely see a decrease in playing time.

Delonte West reportedly looked good in Monday's practice and should be ready to return from his broken finger on Tuesday, according to teammate Mo Williams.
While it's not official, it does sound like West will play on Tuesday after missing eight games with the injury.

Delonte West (finger) participated in a scrimmage on Friday and is listed as "day-to-day" heading into Saturday's game against the Knicks.
West reportedly handled the ball well and shot normally despite a protective brace on his fractured finger. We'd like to see him play in a game before putting him in our lineups. It's also worth noting that the Cavs have won 10 straight games and Daniel Gibson has played very well as the starting point guard over the last seven.

Delonte West (finger) did not play Thursday against the Heat, but could be back as soon as Tuesday against the Nets.
He did some shooting Thursday morning with his finger taped up, but what is most telling is that with third-string point guard Daniel Gibson (personal) out on Thursday, he wasn't healthy enough to gut it out. Keep him reserved, obviously, until we get more definitive news about his return.

Daniel Gibson will not play in Thursday's game against the Heat for personal reasons, and Jawad Williams will start in his place with LeBron James handling point guard duties.
The Cavs will not start a player under 6'6" tonight, so in theory Rafer Alston should be able to get inside the lane. Look for a big game from LBJ, and Cavs beat writer Brian Windhorst says Danny Green will get extended playing time, but we wouldn't run to the wire based on that info. As of now, Delonte West will not be activated, giving owners a clue about his status.
