 Trevor Ariza-F- RocketsNov. 17 - 11:49 pm et
Trevor Ariza hit just 8-of-21 shots but hit three 3-pointers to finish with a full stat line of 19 points, nine boards, four assists and three steals in a tough loss to the Suns.
Ariza has been fantastic this season, if you discount his 36 percent shooting over his last eight games. The shooting should improve, but he's doing enough in every other category that owners should be able to live with the poor percentage from the floor.

 Trevor Ariza-F - Rockets Nov. 16 - 12:56 am et

Trevor Ariza struggled shooting the ball in his return to Los Angeles on Sunday, hitting just 2-of-12 shots, but was otherwise solid with eight rebounds, four assists, four steals, and two blocks.
He was presented with his championship ring tonight, and he was probably too amped up to make a shot. He used his energy to provide tenacious defense on Kobe Bryant, who he was able to slow to the tune of a 5-of-20 shooting mark. It didn't hurt that Kobe was nursing a groin injury, either.
 Trevor Ariza-F - Rockets Nov. 14 - 12:32 am et

Trevor Ariza scored 28 points on Friday, making 10-of-21 FGs, 4-of-12 three-pointers and 4-of-4 FTs. He added six rebounds, five assists, five steals, one block, and didn't turn the ball over in 44 minutes.
Ariza had all five of his steals (matching a career-high) by the end of the first half. Unfortunately his effort, which won't go unappreciated in fantasy leagues, wasn't enough against a spirited Kings team.
 Trevor Ariza-F - Rockets Nov. 7 - 1:52 am et

Trevor Ariza hit 8-of-18 shots and two 3-pointers on his way to 21 points, five rebounds, six assists and a steal in Friday's win.
It's becoming clear that Ariza is a primary scoring option in Houston and the other numbers are going to follow. If he keeps this up, look for him to be a serious candidate in the league's Most Improved Player category.
 Trevor Ariza-F - Rockets Nov. 6 - 3:04 am et

Trevor Ariza left Thursday's practice with flu-like symptoms.
This immediately puts his availability for Friday's game into question, since if he has a fever the NBA will not allow him to play amidst concerns over the H1N1 virus. Kyle Lowry and Shane Battier, who will already benefit if forward Chase Budinger (ankle) misses the game, would be first in line for Ariza's minutes.

 Chase Budinger-G/F - Rockets Nov. 2 - 11:37 pm et

The Rockets beat the Jazz on Monday with a balanced team effort and a big fourth quarter -- Chase Budinger scored a career-high 17 points but left late in the game with an ankle injury.
We'll post an update on Budinger's injury as soon as possible. Eight Rockets scored double-digit points in this game, led by Budinger and the usual suspects -- Aaron Brooks (19 points, nine assists), Trevor Ariza (15 points) and Luis Scola (14 points, 15 rebounds).
