Rockets swingman Trevor Ariza (hip pointer) will not play in Tuesday's game against the Heat.
Chase Budinger is expected to start at SG with both Ariza and Kyle Lowry (ankle) sidelined, with guys like Jermaine Taylor and Garrett Temple providing bench support. The good news for Houston is they'll get a few days to rest injured players over the break -- they have zero players in the All-Star game.

The Rockets are expected to be without Trevor Ariza (hip pointer) for Tuesday's game in Miami.
Houston plays just once in Week 16, and Ariza should get plenty of rest with the All-Star break looming. Keep him out of your active lineups, and hopefully he'll come back 100% healthy.

Trevor Ariza suffered a hip pointer during Saturday's game against the Sixers, and his status for Tuesday's game is questionable, given that he couldn't even change out of his uniform after the game due to the pain.
He finished with nine points on 3-of-9 shooting (including a three) with two rebounds, four assists, two steals, and a block in 35 minutes. His high-volume, low-percentage shooting could use some time off for reevaluation, so maybe him missing some time isn't all that bad for him.

Trevor Ariza shot 7-for-16 from the field Friday night on his way to 17 points, eight rebounds and two 3-pointers.
Ariza hasn't shot 50 percent from the field since Jan. 9. He's below 38 percent on the season and considering his high volume of attemps, it's very difficult to overcome in fantasy.

Aaron Brooks and Co. made easy work of the Warriors on Tuesday with a 119-97 win, and he finished with 24 points on 10-of-20 shooting (including two 3-pointers) with eight rebounds and six assists.
Trevor Ariza scored 18 points on 6-of-16 shooting, Chuck Hayes grabbed 13 boards over the worst rebounding team of the last 20 years, and Shane Battier scored 12 points on 4-of-6 shooting (with two threes) with five rebounds, five assists, and two blocks.

Trevor Ariza scored 21 points on 21 shot attempts in Sunday's overtime loss to the Suns, hitting just seven field goals (including four 3-pointers) with seven rebounds, four assists, and two steals in 45 minutes.
Ariza has one of the larger disparities in value between scoring systems that count field goal percentage and those that do not. Sunday marked the first time that he crossed the 20-point threshold since Dec. 19, and just the third time he has done it in the last two months.
