Chris Paul will undergo surgery for a meniscus tear in his left knee on Thursday, according to coach Jeff Bower.
Paul is expected to be out for approximately one month. This is tough news for fantasy owners, but it looks like Paul has dodged the worst-case scenario and should still come back to salvage value this season. Obviously outright dropping CP3 in fantasy leagues is not advised, but if you can get something substantial for him from a contender in your league, consider pulling the trigger. Meanwhile, Darren Collison should be owned and starting in all leagues, while starting SG Marcus Thornton sees a slight bump in value as the new backup PG. Source: The Times Picayune
