Channing Frye was just 1-of-6 for two points and three rebounds in 21 minutes of Friday's win over the Kings.
Frye has had some very big games off the bench for the Suns, but was a more dependable player while starting. He should bounce back in the next one, but is no longer a lock for big lines every time out.

Paul Pierce, Chauncey Billups, Daequan Cook, Stephen Curry, Danilo Gallinari and Channing Frye have been selected to participate in the 3-point shooutout at All-Star weekend.
Most importantly, this assures us that Pierce's foot is not in any serious danger. He almost certainly won't play Friday but will try to talk Doc Rivers into letting him play on Sunday. As for the shooutout, Cook is back to defend his crown while Gallinari is leading the NBA in 3-pointers made per game.

Suns coach Alvin Gentry said he is happy with Channing Frye coming off the bench and Robin Lopez starting.
"It's really helped in both areas because Channing is really playing the same amount and Robin jump-starts us in games he's started with follow shots, blocked shots and layups," Gentry said. Frye's minutes are down from 31 to 23 as a reserve, but his 3-pointers made are only slight down from 2.4 to 2.1. Both players remain fantasy assets.

Channing Frye came off the Suns bench for 20 points (8-of-14 shooting), three 3-pointers, six rebounds and one steal in 25 minutes on Monday.
Frye isn't the most reliable option off the bench, having scoring seven points in each of the past two games. He can always blow up for 20+ points with a liberal dose of 3-pointers and blocks, however, and with Amare Stoudemire on the trade block Frye remains a must-own fantasy player.

Robin Lopez bounced back from a poor performance Thursday to score 14 points on 6-of-8 shooting with six rebounds, no assists, and three blocks in 27 minutes on Sunday.
He's been hit or miss since he came onto the scene midway through the month, which is to be expected of a second-year player with little real experience. His main competition for minutes, Channing Frye, scored seven points with five rebounds in 20 minutes.

Robin Lopez had a quiet night on Thursday, scoring just four points on 2-of-5 shooting with six rebounds and no steals, assists, or blocks in 21 minutes of run.
After a promising entrance into the fantasy landscape, Lopez has leveled off into fantasy mediocrity, but that doesn't mean owners should give up on him just yet. His competition for minutes, Channing Frye, had just seven points and six rebounds in 26 minutes, and overall Lopez still has a lot of improving to do.
