 Andrew Bynum-C- LakersFeb. 9 - 1:18 pm et
Andrew Bynum (knee, hip) confirmed that he won't play until the Lakers come out of the All-Star break.
Bynum is waiting for the bruising and swelling in his right hip to subside. The good news is that his swollen left knee is feeling better and he sounded confident he'll be able to play in a week. We doubt this is the last injury piece of injury news we'll have on Bynum this season.

 Andrew Bynum-C - Lakers Feb. 8 - 9:45 pm et

Andrew Bynum will not play on Monday because of his bruised right hip.
He is also doubtful to play on Wednesday, which would give him lots of rest in a shortened All-Star week. All of which is great news if you rolled the dice on fill-in starter Lamar Odom, who always shines when Bynum or Pau Gasol go down.
 Kobe Bryant-G - Lakers Feb. 8 - 9:38 pm et

The Lakers will play without both Kobe Bryant (sprained left ankle) and Andrew Bynum (bruised right hip) vs. the Spurs on Monday.
An MRI revealed nothing worse than a sprain, and Kobe is questionable for L.A.'s final game before the All-Star break, Wednesday at Utah. Lamar Odom will start at PF on Monday, moving Pau Gasol to center.

Andrew Bynum is still doubtful for Monday's game after Monday's shootaround.
It's starting to sound like he won't play tonight, so get him on your bench until further notice.

 Andrew Bynum-C - Lakers Feb. 8 - 10:39 am et

Andrew Bynum is listed as doubtful for Monday's game because of a bruised hip, but it sounds like he'll be a game-time decision.
Bynum was already wearing two knee braces for preventative reasons, and the Lakers could easily decide to rest him through the All-Star break. If you have safer (healthier) options it's probably wise to use them -- if Bynum sits, expect a big game from Lamar Odom.
 Andrew Bynum-C - Lakers Feb. 7 - 9:20 am et

Lakers center Andrew Bynum not only left Saturday's game with a hip injury, but has been wearing two knee braces.
One is due to swelling in his sore left knee, while the other is on his right knee after he suffered a torn MCL last season. He doesn't sound too concerned about his knees, saying "It's not anything that's going to be too bad," and remains day-to-day with the hip injury. The good news is the Lakers' final two games heading into the break are against the Spurs and Jazz. Bynum was having trouble running with the Blazers on Saturday, but it's conceivable he'll at least try to play against the Spurs and see how it goes. The Lakers are off on Sunday, so don't expect any new updates before Monday.
