The Bucks have waived seldom-used guard Roko Ukic, at his request.
"Roko asked to be released from his contract in order to pursue other playing opportunities," said GM John Hammond. Ukic will reportedly sign with a team in Turkey, where he should be a focal point instead of an afterthought.

Charlie Bell was a DNP-CD on Wednesday, as coach Scott Skiles elected to use Roko Ukic off the bench against his former team, the Raptors.
Ukic responded with 17 points in 25 minutes after not even playing in four of his previous five games. "Coach is good like that; he always gives guys opportunities," Andrew Bogut said of coach Skiles. We expect things to return to normal for the next one, but it's also possible that Ukic has earned a little playing time after his solid effort on Wednesday.

Roko Ukic had 17 points, four assists and two 3-pointers in Wednesday's win over his former team, the Raptors.
We have no idea where this came from, although it appears that Scott Skiles gave him some extra run against the Raps. Brandon Jennings left late after suffering a knee injury, but it would probably take a lot more than Jennings going down for Ukic to have fantasy value. This was just the second time he's played in the last seven games, so just keep an eye on him.

Representing his home Croatia Roko Ukic won MVP honors in the Efes Pilsen World Cup.
Ukic saw spot minutes with the Raptors last season and will be hard pressed to find time in the Bucks rotation even if Ramon Sessions signs elsewhere.

The four-player trade between the Bucks and Raptors is now official, sending Amir Johnson and Sonny Weems to Toronto, and Carlos Delfino and Roko Ukic to Milwaukee.
This understated deal gives the Raptors a young backup big man (Johnson) and financial flexibility, while the Bucks get solid backups at SG/SF (Delfino) and PG (Ukic). Of the four players involved, only Delfino is likely to play enough to have fantasy value.

The Bucks imminent acquisition of point guard Roko Ukic indicates that they're prepared to lose Ramon Sessions via restricted free agency.
The Bucks already have Brandon Jennings and Luke Ridnour at PG, with Ukic likely serving as a third-string PG. Don't expect Ukic, who averaged 4.2 points and 2.1 assists as a rookie last season, to have any fantasy value this year.
