The Nuggets are unfazed by the loss of Linas Kleiza, who recently signed with Olympiakos, largely because they were able to sign Aaron Afflalo.
Afflalo is favored to start at SG during J.R. Smith's season-opening seven-game suspension. As for Kleiza, Nuggets VP Mark Warkentien notes that "his road back to the NBA goes through Denver," since he essentially remains a restricted free agent.

Free agent Linas Kleiza has agreed to a two-year, $12.2 million contract with the Greek team Olympiakos, according to Yahoo! Sports.
Kleiza will make considerably more than he would have in the NBA, and this deal is even richer than what Olympiakos reportedly offered Nate Robinson and Allen Iverson (two years, $10 million). Kleiza can opt-out next summer, should he choose to return to the NBA.

Free agent swingman Linas Kleiza is still deciding between the Nuggets' $2.7 million qualifying offer and a recent bid from the Greek team Olympiakos.
The Raptors might have interest in signing Kleiza to a minimal contract, but according to beat writer Doug Smith, "If Denver rescinds on Kleiza...I’m hearing he’ll go to Europe rather than play for relative peanuts...in the NBA."

Greek powerhouse Olympiakos is showing interest in Nuggets restricted free agent Linas Kleiza.
This is the same team that Josh Childress plays for and is currrently wooing Nate Robinson. The Nuggets say they want Kleiza back but not at the price he's asking for right now. We'll see where the 3-point specialist gets the best off from.

Nuggets free agent Dahntay Jones was contacted by the Pacers on Wednesday.
Jones is not an offensive juggernaut, but might be a great fit for the Pacers, who could use his defensive mentality. The Pacers also called about Nuggets free agents Anthony Carter and Linas Kleiza, and are also said to be interested in Magic big man Marcin Gortat.

The Raptors contacted Linas Kleiza and Charlie Villanueva at the start of free agency.
Villanueva was traded by Toronto GM Bryan Colangelo a few years ago, but Kleiza does appear to have some interest in joining the Raptors. Deals were not struck with either player, as they continue to listen to pitches from several teams.
