The Raptors released guard Quincy Douby on Thursday.
He had been on the inactive list since Oct. 28 and did not appear in any regular season games. The four-year NBA veteran has averaged 4.1 points, 1.1 rebounds and 10.7 minutes in 143 career games with the Raptors and Kings.

The Raptors have until Oct. 31 to exercise the 2010-11 contract option on Marco Belinelli and Quincy Douby.
Belinelli would make a guaranteed $2.4 million and will likely have his option picked up, but Douby might not be so fortunate. It's doubtful Belinelli can score enough off the bench to make a dent in fantasy leagues, but he's worth keeping an eye on.

Quincy Douby ended up staying with the Raptors after complications with his contract forced the Raptors to send Nathan Jawai to Memphis (instead of Douby) in Thursday's complex trade involving Shawn Marion and Hedo Turkoglu.
Neither Douby or Jawai have any fantasy value, and Douby may not stick with the Raptors for very long.

Mavericks Antoine Wright and Devean George, Toronto's Kris Humphries, and Memphis' Greg Buckner have all been moved in part of the Shawn Marion trade to Dallas.
Wright and George will end up in Toronto, while Humphries and Buckner are on their way to the Mavericks. George, Humphries and Buckner aren't expected to offer fantasy value, but Wright is a likely starter at shooting guard, as it appears that Anthony Parker is heading to the Cavaliers. Ric Bucher also said via Twitter that Raptors shooting guard Quincy Douby is heading to Memphis, along with the contract of Jerry Stackhouse, in the deal.

The Raptors have signed Quincy Douby to a contract that is partially guaranteed for next season.
This allows Douby to show what he can do in Summer League and training camp, without leaving the Raptors on the hook if he doesn't pan out. He hasn't done much all year and has an uphill battle to establish fantasy value next season.
