J.J. Redick struggled with his lateral movement Sunday after suffering an ankle injury in Saturday's practice.
Redick doesn't matter much in fantasy leagues these days, but if for some reason he's on your radar this news should be enough to keep you from playing him.

Vince Carter (ankle) will not play on Sunday against the Thunder.
Carter participated in shootaround, which is a bit of a good sign, although when the Magic are still playing it safe while dressing just nine guys it's a bit of a concern. We doubt anything is seriously wrong, but Carter could be a tough play next week since the Magic have just three games.

Vince Carter will not play Friday against the Pistons, coach Stan Van Gundy said. J.J. Redick will get the start again at SG.
Carter, who has a sprained ankle, practiced today without a noticeable limp; but the Magic will play it safe. Reserve G Anthony Johnson will also miss Friday's game to deal with a family issue.

Coach Stan Van Gundy does not expect to have Vince Carter (ankle) available to play on Friday against the Pistons.
Carter reinjured the ankle on Tuesday, and Van Gundy is second-guessing himself on whether he should have played him. "We probably shouldn't have played him in Detroit, but Vince said he wanted to go," Van Gundy said. Get him out of your lineups for now, and expect J.J. Redick to draw the start.

With Vince Carter sidelined, J.J. Redick will get another start at SG.
Since Carter and Mickael Pietrus are likely both out Wednesday night, Redick will have to pick up some scoring slack. He's a decent option if you own him.
