 Jordan Farmar-G- LakersJan. 24 - 8:49 pm et
Jordan Farmar came up with 17 points off the bench against the Raptors on Sunday, hitting 7-of-11 shots from the field (3-of-4 from downtown) to go with four rebounds, one assist, and one steal in 21 minutes.
Farmar got hot in this one, but there's no telling if he'll be able to do it again in his next game. As far as who will eventually take over Derek Fisher's minutes over time, the best bet is probably still Shannon Brown (17 minutes, two points), but there is no clear cut winner at this point.

 Jordan Farmar-G - Lakers Jan. 19 - 1:16 pm et

Beat writer Kevin Ding says impending free agent Jordan Farmar still has something to prove before the Lakers offer him an extension.
Farmar has been given a little more responsibility lately, as evidenced by him running the show in some fourth quarters. Still, the Lakers don't trust him nearly as much as 11-year veteran Derek Fisher. Fisher, 35, is also a free agent after the season and Farmar would have some real value if he gets a new deal and lands the starting job.

 Shannon Brown-G/F - Lakers Jan. 11 - 12:47 am et

Shannon Brown had a season high of 19 points to go along with four rebounds, three assists, two blocks and two 3-pointers in Sunday's win over the Bucks.
He and Jordan Farmar (17 points) dominated the fourth quarter in a Lakers' romp, but will only have nights like this when the Lakers are dominating, and when Kobe Bryant is struggling. Kobe hit just 4-of-21 shots on the night.
 Derek Fisher-G - Lakers Jan. 7 - 9:12 pm et

Derek Fisher has only shot better than 50 percent from the field in one of his last nine games, and was benched during the fourth quarter of Wednesday's loss to the Clippers.
While Fisher won't be this bad all year, the only thing keeping him on the court is leadership at this point. Shannon Brown probably leads the race to replace him, followed by Jordan Farmer, but in the end they'll probably all cancel each other out.

 Jordan Farmar-G - Lakers Jan. 4 - 12:46 am et

Jordan Farmar tied his career-high with 24 points on 8-of-14 shooting (including six 3-pointers) with a rebound, a block, two steals, and an assist in the Lakers' 131-96 blowout win over the Mavs on Sunday.
The Lakers led by 40 points after the third quarter, and shot a monstrous 63% from the field. Farmar's effort was accompanied by 11 points and five assists by Shannon Brown, and 11 points and five rebounds by Sasha Vujacic.
 Jordan Farmar-G - Lakers Dec. 9 - 8:57 am et

Farmar has increased his minutes and production over his last five games, a result of being more patient on offense. "He's playing better on the offensive end and on the defensive end," assistant coach Brian Shaw said.
Farmar has quietly averaged 10.8 points and nearly two threes per game over his last five games. His playing time is too spotty to make him a reliable fantasy player right now but his recent play should put him on your radar, especially in deeper leagues.
