Josh Boone had six points, eight rebounds and three blocks, while Trenton Hassell had 13 points, five boards and three assists as the Nets fell to the Sixers to fall to 0-8 on the season.
Boone could be a decent size of boards and blocks while Yi Jianlian is out for several more weeks, but we really don't trust Hassell. Both started for the injury-depleted Nets tonight.

Terrence Williams will start at shooting guard for the Nets on Wednesday, according to preliminary box scores.
Trenton Hassell and Josh Boone are starting at the forward spots, while Rafer Alston and Brook Lopez are also in there. The Nets are devastated by injuries, but Williams and Boone could end up having some fantasy value.

Josh Boone is expected to get another start for the Nets on Wednesday despite wearing a wrap on his right hand.
Boone is still in discomfort after having three of his fingers bent back against the Celtics on Saturday, but plans to play through it and is someone to consider if you're in need of boards and blocks in leagues of 12 teams or more.

Josh Boone started for the short-handed Nets Saturday and had eight points and 12 boards in a loss to the Celtics.
He played 37 minutes out of necessity, as the Nets are easily the most injured/ill team in the league. He's clearly a more intriguing fantasy option than Eduardo Najera, and should be watched closely. He could end up filling the hole left by Yi Jianlian.

With the Nets ravaged by injury and illness, Bobby Simmons, Trenton Hassell and Josh Boone, who hardly played at the start of the season, were in the starting lineup on Saturday against the, gulp, Celtics.
Rafer Alston and Brook Lopez rounded out the starting five, with Lopez being the only regular in the bunch. Eduardo Najera started in the last one, but it was Boone at PF tonight. We'll let you know how things went after the game.

Josh Boone hit 4-of-8 shots for 11 points, eight rebounds, two steals and a block in 29 minutes off the Nets' bench on Wednesday.
He's going to get a lot of minutes with Yi Jianlian sidelined, so think about grabbing him if you need a power forward. Eduardo Najera started in Yi's place and played well, but Boone might be the better pickup.
