 Mario Chalmers-G- HeatNov. 15 - 2:30 pm et
Mario Chalmers (shoulder) is still experiencing pain in his injured right shoulder, but is "hopeful" that he will play Tuesday against the Thunder.
"I don't know how it happened. After I threw the pass, I felt numbness in my shoulder and a sharp pain. Right now, it feels OK, still a little sore and painful," said Chalmers. This isn't as solid of an update as we would like, but we're leaning towards him playing Tuesday.

 Chris Quinn-G - Heat Nov. 10 - 10:16 pm et

Backup Heat point guard Chris Quinn (foot) was available to play on Tuesday but never set foot on the court.
Quinn has been dealing with foot and toe issues for as long as we care to remember. With Mario Chalmers starting and Carlos Arroyo as a backup, there's no reason to own Quinn in fantasy leagues.
 Chris Quinn-G - Heat Nov. 2 - 5:00 pm et

Backup point guard Chris Quinn finally practiced through a foot injury and has been cleared to play Tuesday against the Suns.
Quinn could eat into the minutes of starter Mario Chalmers a bit, but shouldn't make much of a difference in fantasy leagues, or in real life Heat basketball.

 Tim Duncan-F/C - Spurs Oct. 11 - 12:06 pm et

Tim Duncan and Manu Ginobili did not travel with the Spurs for Sunday's game in Miami.
This game should probably just be canceled. Dwyane Wade (ribs), Jermaine O'Neal (foot), Chris Quinn (foot) and Quentin Richardson (ankle) are out for Miami, while Daequan Cook (wrist) and Dorell Wright (knee) are questionable. No word on specifically why the Spurs' duo is sitting out today, but it's more than likely simply Gregg Popovich exercising caution. Get used to it.

 Chris Quinn-G - Heat Oct. 10 - 3:28 pm et

Backup point guard Chris Quinn will miss at least a week due to a sprained right foot.
He was injured when Michael Beasley fell on his foot during Friday’s practice. This is scary news for the Heat, as Quinn is the only backup point guard to Mario Chalmers under contract.

 Mario Chalmers-G - Heat Oct. 8 - 7:23 pm et

Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra gave a vote of confidence to struggling young point guards Mario Chalmers and Chris Quinn on Thursday. Chalmers is 2-of-10 from the field, with three assists and five turnovers amid the Heat's 0-2 start. Quinn is 1-of-9 with four assists and one turnover.
"They'll be better," Spoelstra said. "Mario was much better than this during camp. He was very good last year. I'm not ready to pass any kind of judgment on that. We'll turn it around." Maybe, but our early prediction of Chalmers being a bust might be coming true.
