Morris Almond, who remains unsigned after being taken in the first round of the 2007 draft by the Jazz, scored 17 points for the Knicks in Tuesday's summer league game.
Almond hit 7-of-12 shots, was 3-of-6 from 3-point range and reminded many folks of a guy named Allan Houston. Almond isn't a guy you'll want to draft until the final round, if at all, in fantasy leagues. But he might become a hot waiver-wire pick up in Mike D'Antoni's offense this season. He's still not officially on the Knicks' roster, but appears to be headed in that direction. Source: New York Post
