The Warriors have decided not to sign guard Coby Karl to another 10-day contract.
In a few days, Karl went from being a starter to being off the team, but such is life for a D-League callup.

 Coby Karl-G - Warriors Feb. 7 - 1:42 am et

Coby Karl started against the Thunder on Saturday and finished with 10 points on 4-of-12 shooting (1-of-6 from downtown) with two rebounds and one assist in 30 minutes.
With Nellie "in love" with Karl (according to beat writer Marcus Thompson) it's possible he delivers some early Valentine's Day presents to his owners. But don't be surprised if all you're left with is a pair of beer goggles and a fantasy loss.
 Coby Karl-G - Warriors Feb. 5 - 4:44 pm et

Beat writer Marcus Thompson says that coach Don Nelson "is in love" with recent D-League callup Coby Karl.
The Warriors have a roster decision to make on Saturday as Anthony Tolliver's 10-day contract is up. They could go with Tolliver and Karl, but then would have to release Chris Hunter. We'll see how it shakes out, but we're leaving Karl on waivers for now. His minutes will be wildly inconsistent, even for a Nelson player.

 Coby Karl-G - Warriors Feb. 4 - 12:27 am et

Coby Karl, who flirted with a surprising triple-double on Tuesday, was scoreless in 16 minutes of Wednesday's loss to the Mavericks.
So much for that. He did have six rebounds and one assist, but played just 16 minutes. He's worth keeping an eye on in extremely deep leagues, but we're not expecting much from him going forward.
 Coby Karl-G - Warriors Feb. 2 - 11:21 pm et

Coby Karl came out of nowhere in Tuesday's blowout loss to score 12 points on 5-of-13 shooting (including a three) with seven rebounds, seven assists, and a steal in 37 minutes.
We don't fully know what to make out of this line, other than the fact that he's playing for his NBA life and impressed Nellie with his hustle. He even saw time over Stephen Curry tonight, which generated its fair share of buzz. Don't go crazy, but if you're desperate and in a deeper league he's worth a look.
 Stephen Curry-G - Warriors Feb. 2 - 11:08 pm et

Stephen Curry had one of his poorer games of the year in Tuesday's blowout loss, hitting just 6-of-18 shots from the field (including two 3-pointers) for 14 points, two rebounds, four assists, and one steal in 30 minutes.
Much was made during the broadcast and on the Internet about Coby Karl playing over Curry at times, but 'garbage time' started early in this one. This game should give owners a reminder, though, that Curry isn't one of Nellie's untouchables, and it may be time to sell high with Anthony Morrow coming back, as well.
