Derrick Rose started off slowly on Thursday, hitting just 2-of-13 shots to start the game, but hit his last seven shots to finish with 20 points, one rebound, six assists, and one steal.
Had Rose continued his downward spiral, you can bet there would be some panicking owners out there after Tuesday's 2-of-12 shooting effort. His ankle will cease to be an excuse at some point, but he'll probably straighten things out before it comes to that. He's a solid buy low candidate right now.

Derrick Rose hit just 2-of-12 shots on Tuesday, as he continues to struggle in his second season.
"It hurts a little knowing I'm not playing the way I usually play," Rose said. "But I know I'll get there. I gotta pull myself together one of these games. So I'm going to keep my head up." He should be just about fully recovered from an early ankle injury, so he should get it going in the near future.

Derrick Rose hit just 2-of-12 shots for 10 points seven assists, two steals and a block in Tuesday's win.
The steals were a nice surprise, but Rose has yet to live up to the hype, or where he was drafted in fantasy leagues. You have to think his ankle is getting healthy and we expect him to turn it around in the very near future. Consider buying low on him, as his owners are probably getting tired of his struggles.

Derrick Rose hit 6-of-11 shots for 13 points, four assists and three steals in Saturday's win over the Bobcats.
He also committed seven turnovers, which is probably a sign that his ankle and conditioning are still bothering him. He'll get it going eventually, and remains an excellent buy-low target if you need a point guard.

Derrick Rose continued to struggle shooting the ball on Thursday, hitting just 6-of-15 from the field, but did drop 11 dimes in the Bulls' 86-85 win over the Cavs.
Rose, who is struggling with his conditioning as well as an ankle injury, has yet to reach his full potential. He continues to be on a slight minute count, averaging about 30 minutes per game, and owners need to maintain their patience until he is pronounced to be "full strength."

Derrick Rose stayed late after Bulls' practice on Wednesday in order to work on his conditioning.
"They're just trying to get me back in condition," Rose said. "That's my biggest concern, and the organization's biggest concern is getting me back in shape. It's coming along." Rose missed most of the preseason with an ankle injury and is clearly still not at 100 percent, but will hopefully be soon.
