Pacers rookie Tyler Hansbrough (ear infection) is no longer participating in basketball activities and has been ordered by doctors to stop working out.
"I do not know if we will have Tyler (after the All-Star break)," said coach Jim O'Brien said. "The fact that he's been told that he is not really allowed to move around, even one-on-none, is a real setback from the conditioning standpoint."

Tyler Hansbrough (inner ear infection) admitted that there's no timetable for his return.
"It's tough to travel, it is tough to fly, there is pain there. It's difficult to deal with because you don't really know what the timetable is, and it not the kind of injury that you are used to," the rookie said. Psycho T is off the fantasy radar at this point.

Tyler Hansbrough (ear infection) met with a specialist in New York on Tuesday, but his return date remains uncertain.
Hansbrough has missed 16 of the last 20 games and is still suffering from "constant dizziness," according to the Indianapolis Star, and at this point is only worth rostering in very deep fantasy leagues.

Multiple sources have reported that Pacers big man Jeff Foster will need season-ending surgery on his injured back.
Foster's absence is a tough blow for Indiana, but it opens up minutes for young players Roy Hibbert and Tyler Hansbrough (still out with an ear infection). The Nuggets had been pursuing Foster but this obviously puts an end to that.

Troy Murphy is the Pacers player who "most likely could be moved" before the February 18 trade deadline, according to beat writer Mike Wells.
One hurdle is injuries to Jeff Foster (back) and Tyler Hansbrough (ear) which leaves Indiana very thin up front. The team would also like to unload T.J. Ford but that won't be easy since he is owed $8.5 million next season.
