Wayne Ellington put on a show for his hometown fans by hitting 7-of-10 shots and two 3-pointers for a team-high 16 points in a loss at Philadelphia.
He's from Philly and played well tonight, but doesn't do this often enough to be owned in most leagues. The Wolves had somehow won four straight games, but the streak ended tonight, as Philly won their fifth straight game.

Wayne Ellington hit 8-of-13 shots and a 3-pointer to score 17 points for the second consecutive game, as the Wolves were embarrassed by the Grizzlies in a 135-110 loss on Friday.
Ellington saw some garbage time with this one over early, and had scored a total of 12 points in his previous three games before hitting 17 in consecutive games. Keep an eye on him.

Timberwolves rookie Wayne Ellington scored 17 points on 7-of-12 shooting in Wednesday's triple-overtime loss to Houston.
Ellington hit three 3-pointers with six rebounds, one assist and five turnovers in 35 minutes. He was averaging 5.2 points in the previous four games, so take this with a grain of salt.

Wayne Ellington suddenly has a spot in the Wolves rotation and is putting up solid numbers. Over his last three games Ellington has averaged 14 points, two threes, and five rebounds. Coach Kurt Rambis credits his hard work and increased confidence as reasons for his inflated role on the squad.
Ellington had a bit of hype coming into the season but failed to crack the rotation until recently. He could be a nice source of points and threes if you're looking for a waiver wire flier.

Wayne Ellington scored a career-best 16 points in Saturday's loss to the Pacers.
He added six boards, five assists and a 3-pointer on the night, but we'll need to see him do this a couple more times before recommending he be picked up in fantasy leagues. The Wolves were down 29 tonight, but cut the lead to four before the Pacers finally put the game away.

Wolves rookie Wayne Ellington made his first NBA start on Monday, finishing with just seven points, one assist and three turnovers in 17 minutes.
Coach Kurt Rambis was hoping to inject some speed into the lineup (against the Warriors) by replacing Oleksiy Pecherov, but the move didn't exactly pay off. Ellington still hasn't scored double-digit points in a game this season.
