 Ryan Anderson-F- MagicJan. 30 - 9:48 pm et
Magic backup PF Ryan Anderson hit 7-of-11 field goals (two 3-pointers) for 16 points off the bench on Saturday, adding five rebounds and one assist.
Anderson hadn't cracked the 10-point barrier in eight consecutive games. He played just 17 minutes in this game and unless his role increases (not likely while the Magic are healthy) he won't have value in average leagues.

 Ryan Anderson-F - Magic Jan. 9 - 10:08 pm et

Ryan Anderson scored 16 points in Saturday's easy win against the Hawks, making 5-of -10 FGs and 4-of-4 FTs in 22 minutes.
Orlando's backup big man hadn't played the past two games, but tonight it was Brandon Bass racking up the DNP-CD. Anderson has more fantasy upside, but this game isn't a fair indication of his role -- it was a blowout and Vince Carter wasn't available.
 Ryan Anderson-F - Magic Jan. 9 - 10:17 am et

Magic forward Ryan Anderson picked up his second straight healthy DNP-CD on Friday.
Stan Van Gundy has been using Brandon Bass because of his defensive quickness, but conceded that "our offense is better" with Anderson. The two backup PFs will fight for scrap minutes as long as Rashard Lewis is healthy.

 Ryan Anderson-F - Magic Dec. 23 - 10:33 pm et

Ryan Anderson had 14 points, nine rebounds and three 3-pointers in Friday's easy win over the Rockets.
He's scored a total of 16 points in his last four games, so this is probably not your sign to run out and pick him up. J.J. Redick, who was hot on Monday, had nine points and one 3-pointer on the night.
 Ryan Anderson-F - Magic Dec. 11 - 2:05 am et

Ryan Anderson got hot off the Magic's bench on Thursday, scoring 16 points on 5-of-9 shooting (including four 3-pointers) with five rebounds, two assists, and a steal in 26 minutes of run.
Anderson's 14 first half points were a major reason that the Magic jumped to an 18-point lead, but neither Anderson or the Magic could keep it up. Rashard Lewis got into early foul trouble tonight, so we wouldn't read too much into this fluky line.
 Mickael Pietrus-G/F - Magic Nov. 29 - 12:11 am et

Magic swingman Mickael Pietrus started on Saturday but was scoreless (0-of-5 FGs), as was reserve Matt Barnes (0-of-2 in seven minutes).
There simply isn't enough playing time for guys like Pietrus, Barnes, J.J. Redick, Ryan Anderson, and Brandon Bass. In fact, those five guys scored a combined 19 points, led by Redick (nine) and Bass (eight). Avoid them if at all possible.
