Jason Thompson was held in check by foul trouble on Monday, racking up five fouls in 24 minutes.
The good news is that Thompson did get eight points and 10 rebounds in his limited action. He struggled with foul trouble badly last season, but so far this year he has (usually) been able to stay on the court.

Jason Thompson led the Kings to their fourth consecutive victory on Friday, scoring a career-high 27 points and grabbing 11 rebounds, with two assists and two blocks.
The Kings are 5-4 this season, and their current win streak has happened without leading scorer Kevin Martin (wrist surgery). Whether Sacramento can keep winning is doubtful, but Thompson's owners should be thrilled with their draft-day decision.

Jason Thompson led the Kings to a win over Oklahoma City on Tuesday, notching 21 points (6-of-15 FGs, 9-of-10 FTs), 14 rebounds, two steals, one block and five turnovers.
Thompson is very mobile for a 250-pound power forward, and when he avoids foul trouble he's a handful for any defender. Just keep him locked and loaded in your starting lineup.

It was his third consecutive double-double, and there's no reason to think he'll slow down, but beware of the Kings' upcoming two-game week.

Jason Thompson had his best line of the year against the Hawks Wednesday, hitting 7-of-15 shots and 8-of-9 free throws on his way to 22 points, 12 boards and a block.
This is the line his fantasy owners have been waiting for, but it wasn't enough as the Kings fell to 1-3 with a loss to the Hawks. Thompson should be a solid fantasy PF going forward, and probably hurt Spencer Hawes tonight with all the boards and offense.

Forward Jason Thompson needs to cut down on his penchant for fouls.
Thompson played 39 minutes in the Kings' loss at New Orleans on Friday and grabbed 12 rebounds. But in the next two games, he had nearly as many fouls (11) as rebounds (12). The Kings need him on the floor if they are to improve on last season's weak rebound numbers.
