Sonny Weems had career highs of 14 points and 11 rebounds to go along with four assists on 7-of-11 shooting in Wednesday's win over the Nets.
Weems had a great night and has been starting, but regular starter DeMar DeRozan is expected back from his ankle injury on Sunday, which is clearly bad news for Weems.

Raptors swingman Sonny Weems made his fourth start of the season on Tuesday, filling in for injured DeMar DeRozan (ankle). He was scoreless with two rebounds and three turnovers in 24 minutes.
DeRozan is likely to miss at least Wednesday's game, if not more, but the fact that Weems scored zero of Toronto's 115 points is pretty alarming. Don't bother with him outside of extremely deep leagues.

Beat writer Doug Smith is "getting the sense" that there's no way we see DeMar DeRozan (ankle) before Sunday.
DeRozan is out for tonight's game against the Pacers and he'll probably be held out of Wednesday's game against the Nets as well. Then the Raptors are off until Sunday. Sonny Weems will likely start but is a weak fantasy option.

Sonny Weems started for injured DeMar DeRozan (ankle) on Sunday, and finished with a career-high 13 points on 5-of-8 shooting with six rebounds and three assists in 31 minutes.
He saw additional run with Hedo Turkoglu leaving after just one minute of action, and obviously when DeRozan comes back minutes will get tougher to come by. He'll go back to fantasy irrelevance in no time.

DeMar DeRozan missed Sunday's game against the Pacers with an ankle injury.
Sonny Weems gets the start again, but neither of them have been particularly effective in fantasy leagues, and that doesn't look to changing anytime soon.

Sonny Weems started again for injured DeMar DeRozan (ankle) on Thursday, but failed to impress fantasy owners with just six points on 3-of-4 shooting, four rebounds, a steal, and an assist in 18 minutes of action.
Weems has done nothing with his 15 minutes (literally) to warrant fantasy consideration, especially with DeRozan, Marco Belinelli, and Antoine Wright all fighting for minutes at shooting guard.
