The move puts the Hornets under the luxury tax. Brown appeared in just 22 games this season and will back up Baron Davis, Sebastian Telfair (when healthy) and JamesOn Curry in L.A.

The Hornets have reportedly traded Bobby Brown to the Clippers for a conditional second-round draft pick.
That should put the Hornets under the luxury tax, but Brown shouldn't have any more value in L.A. then he had in New Orleans.

Hornets rookie Darren Collison missed a second straight game on Wednesday with a sore knee.
His absence isn't felt in fantasy leagues, and the Hornets can compensate by giving a few extra minutes to guys like Marcus Thornton (11 points, five rebounds) and Bobby Brown (four points in 10 minutes).

Darren Collison is questionable for Wednesday after being kicked in the knee on Sunday.
Collison has not topped eight points or four assists since Chris Paul returned in early December and remains irrelevant outside of extremely deep leagues. Bobby Brown will likely see limited minutes as the backup PG if Collison can't go.

Rookie Darren Collison, starting for injured Chris Paul, had 12 points, three rebounds, six assists and a steal on 6-of-11 shooting in Tuesday's win over the Clippers.
This was the first win for new coach Jeff Bower, but we were hoping for a little more from Collison. Backup point guard Bobby Brown added 12 points, five dimes and two threes, but neither player is all that appealing with the Hornets playing just twice in Weeks 5, 6 and 9.

Bobby Brown is currently backing up rookie Darren Collison at point guard for the Hornets.
He had 13 points and seven dimes on Saturday and could be a very sneaky fantasy play with four games this week. Collison's the starter, but Brown has more experience and could end up outplaying the rookie.
