Clippers rookie Blake Griffin (knee) hasn't done any weight-bearing physical activities, and he isn't expected to have another MRI until the end of November.
"A lot of people have been positive and telling me to just wait it out, don’t rush, don’t do anything that will further delay the process," Griffin said. He is hoping to return sometime in mid-December.

2008-09: Griffin was easily the No. 1 overall pick in the draft and is slated to start at power forward for the Clippers.
What’s Changed: They traded Zach Randolph to the Grizzlies, clearing the way for a starting job and serious minutes for Griffin. He suffered a shoulder injury over the summer, but should be ready for training camp.
Outlook: He should score plenty of points and contribute in rebounds and blocks. While he’s a top candidate to win ROY, don’t think about grabbing him until the middle rounds of your draft. He’s going to be inconsistent as a rookie and can't shoot free throws.

Blake Griffin (knee) watched from the bench on Tuesday as the Clippers dropped a 99-92 decision to the Lakers in the season opener.
Griffin sported a three-piece suit and blue tie and waved to fans while shouting encouragement from the stands. The No. 1 overall pick won't be allowed back into practice until his stress fracture has healed and is expected to miss up to six weeks.

Mike Dunleavy and Blake Griffin both say that he could continue to play through the stress fracture in his left kneecap, but that the injury wouldn't heal.
"The reality is the injury he had -- both doctors felt the same way about it. It's something he could play on it," Dunleavy said. "But it won't get better. Once that became apparent, there's no question, let's shut it down." Griffin remains upbeat despite the setback and the fact he doesn't need surgery is great news. Look for him to return some time in December.

Blake Griffin has a stress fracture in his in his left patella (kneecap) and is expected to miss up to six weeks of action. He's also suffering from tendinitis in the same knee.
Devastating news if you drafted him, and with Marcus Camby still gimpy with a sprained ankle, Chris Kaman suddenly looks like a possible fantasy stud if he can stay healthy. In addition, guys like Camby, DeAndre Jordan, and even Craig Smith, suddenly look relevant. Get Griffin on your bench for the foreseeable future if you own him, and consider grabbing Jordan or Smith if you're in a very deep league.

Clippers rookie Blake Griffin remains questionable for Tuesday's opener against the Lakers, seeking a second opinion on his sore left knee.
"The first [doctor] said, 'We know it's a bone bruise,' " said Clippers coach Mike Dunleavy. "It just depends on the swelling going down, the comfort level, as far as him being able to play or not."

Blake Griffin (left knee) and Baron Davis (bruised right foot) were held out of Sunday's practice, and Griffin is questionable for the Clipper's season opener.
Griffin injured his left knee, the same knee he hurt before training camp, on a dunk in Friday's game. Coach Mike Dunleavy said that there is swelling, and that he'll be evaluated by team doctors on Monday. While Davis is expected to play in the opener, the Clips will probably play it safe with the No. 1 pick.
