Timberwolves president David Kahn said on Tuesday that Ricky Rubio had agreed to come to the NBA before recently changing his mind.
"While the term sheet was being finalized Monday night, Ricky informed me that...he preferred to stay at home to play for FC Barcelona," said Kahn. The terms of Rubio's deal with Barcelona allow him to leave in two years, when he is 20 years old. In the meantime, the Wolves will get a long look at another lottery-pick point guard, Jonny Flynn.
