DeJuan Blair | Center/Forward

TEAM: San Antonio Spurs
HEIGHT/WEIGHT: 6'8' / 265
DOB: 4/22/1989
AGE:20
 DeJuan Blair-F/C- SpursFeb. 4 - 1:25 am et
DeJuan Blair got hot and hit 9-of-11 shots to score 20 points and grab six rebounds in Wednesday's win over the Kings.
He also had two steals and a block, but played just 24 minutes. Obviously, had his shot not been falling, his line would not have been quite as impressive. He's worth owning in most leagues, but is not all that consistent.

 Antonio McDyess-F/C - Spurs Jan. 30 - 12:44 am et

Antonio McDyess started again at center on Friday and scored 11 points on 5-of-7 shooting with eight rebounds and one assist in 28 minutes.
Not surprisingly, DeJuan Blair neared a double-double in just 17 minutes with eight points and 10 rebounds, and both guys are worth watching to see if they can squeeze some value out of the center position in San Antonio.
 Matt Bonner-F/C - Spurs Jan. 18 - 6:49 pm et

Matt Bonner failed to score in six minutes Monday in his first game back from a broken hand.
Bonner is worth keeping an eye on, but with the emergence of DeJuan Blair, we doubt he'll offer fantasy value this season.
 DeJuan Blair-F/C - Spurs Jan. 15 - 11:10 pm et

DeJuan Blair backed up his 28 & 21 double-double with 11 points and 16 rebounds in Friday's loss to the Bobcats.
Blair got 31 minutes despite the return of Tim Duncan, and while it's completely possible he'll play 15 minutes in his next one, it doesn't seem likely. If he's still available in your league, it's officially time to pick him up.
 Tim Duncan-F/C - Spurs Jan. 15 - 11:07 pm et

Tim Duncan returned from his one-game rest but hit just 4-of-12 shots on Friday to finish with 10 points, nine rebounds, five assists and no blocks in a loss to the Bobcats.
Instead of random DNPs, how about giving DeJuan Blair, who had 11 points and 16 boards tonight, some of Duncan's minutes? That will keep Duncan in the flow and allow Blair to flourish. It's possible Gregg Popovich is ready to go with that plan, as Blair saw 31 minutes, and Duncan got 33.
 DeJuan Blair-F/C - Spurs Jan. 13 - 11:23 pm et

With Tim Duncan resting on Wednesday, Spurs rookie DeJuan Blair exploded for career-highs of 28 points, 21 rebounds, two steals and two blocks. He was 11-of-17 from the field and 6-of-8 from the line in just 31 minutes.
Blair had been conspicuously quiet despite starting over the past few games, and there's no way anyone could have predicted this gem. Duncan is due back on Friday so we're left hoping that Blair's freakout has earned him more minutes.
