Flip Murray was the third guard off the Bobcats bench on Tuesday, finishing with 10 points and three rebounds in 14 minutes.
He was shooting 10-of-45 from the field and 8-of-17 from the FT line in the past six games, so it's not hard to guess why his role was tweaked. Of course, the two players who entered the game before him, D.J. Augustin and Gerald Henderson, finished with a combined two points, one rebound and one assist.

Gerald Henderson had 15 points, four rebounds, an assist, two steals, a block and a 3-pointer in Wednesday's easy win over Toronto.
The rookie hit 5-of-9 shots, but clearly saw some extra run with the Bobcats up early in a blowout. Don't expect him to play like this very often.

Bobcats guard Raja Bell has a partially torn ligament in his left wrist that could require surgery and sideline him for most of the season.
This is huge news for the value of point guard D.J. Augustin, who could conceivably slide into the starting lineup, moving Raymond Felton to shooting guard. Another possibility is that rookie Gerald Henderson will be promoted to the starting five. There is a chance Bell can avoid surgery and return sooner, so check back soon for an update.

Bobcats rookie Gerald Henderson returned from a shoulder injury to score 14 points on 7-of-8 shooting off the bench on Tuesday.
Henderson had one rebound and one block in his 14 minutes, and he might have gotten more minutes (with Raja Bell sidelined) if it weren't for his recent injury. Bell was mentioned in trade rumors this summer, so keep Henderson on your waiver wire radar.

First round draft pick Gerald Henderson sat out Sunday's game with a bruised left shoulder.
Henderson should see minutes at shooting guard this year, but isn't likely to have value barring an injury.

Flip Murray has been shut down for the rest of the preseason with early signs of a stress reaction in his shin.
He may or may not be ready for the start of the season, but this is probably good news for guys like D.J. Augustin and rookie Gerald Henderson.
