Wesley Matthews caught fire for 16 points on 6-for-6 shooting in Wednesday's win over the Blazers.
Matthews can really shoot it, but we can't predict when he'll play 30 minutes and when he'll play 10. Leave him on waivers unless you're in an extremely deep league.

Wesley Matthews played just nine minutes and scored three points on Wednesday.
He scored 21 points in his last one, but the nine minutes is a perfect indication of why he doesn't have fantasy value in most leagues.

Wesley Matthews got hot late, scoring 10 points in the fourth quarter to finish with 21 points, four rebounds, five assists, two steals and three 3-pointers in a comeback win over the Suns.
We're not sure where this came from and he did it in just 24 minutes. He had scored a total of 22 points in his last four games, so we doubt he's worth a pickup in most leagues after having "one of those nights."

Ronnie Brewer may have started every game this season for the Jazz, but the abundance of wings on the roster has hindered anyone from emerging in the rotation.
Between Andrei Kirilenko, Brewer, C.J. Miles, Kyle Korver, and Wesley Matthews the shot and minute distribution kills any potential value they might have. There needs to be a handful of injuries for anyone to see some upside.

Jazz coach Jerry Sloan said after Monday's game that he may "settle down" the team's rotation of wing players.
Sloan is eager to give more minutes to Andrei Kirilenko because, " he's a guy that can make plays." He also praised Wesley Matthews for his defensive intensity, and C.J. Miles could be the big loser in this equation.

Wesley Matthews hit 5-of-8 shots and three 3-pointers for 18 points and three rebounds in Monday's win.
Matthews got some extra run with C.J. Miles out, but doesn't offer much value as long as he's coming off the bench.
