The Magic, who lost starting point guard Jameer Nelson for the next four to six weeks due to knee surgery, have been contacted by Antonio Daniels.
No word on whether or not they'll sign him, but it's important to remember that Daniels was a fantasy disappointment while filling in for Gilbert Arenas a couple years ago. Interestingly, Rafer Alston's on the block in New Jersey, but it's hard to imagine him going back to Orlando after being traded last summer.

Antonio Daniels worked out with the Cavaliers on Sunday and could reach an agreement in the upcoming days.
Daniels has interest from other teams, but he's negotiating solely with the Cavs at this time. He'll provide depth for Cleveland's backcourt, but he won't help you in fantasy leagues.

Cavaliers GM Danny Ferry says "nothing is imminent" on the signing of free agent guard Antonio Daniels.
Daniels cleared waivers on Tuesday and is free to sign with any team. The Cavs reportedly have been in contact with Daniels, who was bought out of his $6.6 million contract in Minnesota last Friday. Daniels also played for Cavs coach Mike Brown in San Antonio. Either way, Daniels would have little fantasy value in Cleveland.

According to league sources, the Cavaliers are close to signing free agent guard Antonio Daniels.
Daniels will clear waivers on Tuesday and fantasy owners shouldn't be surprised if the Cavs immediately scoop him up. Unfortunately he won't have any fantasy value in Cleveland.

The Cavaliers are reportedly in contact with recently waived point guard Antonio Daniels.
Daniels would not have any fantasy value in Cleveland playing behind Mo Williams, Anthony Parker, and Delonte West, nor is he likely to have value with any other team.

The Timberwolves have waived Antonio Daniels.
Daniels, the 4th overall pick of the 1997 draft, has career averages of 7.6 points and 3.4 assists. He wasn't expected to have much of an impact in fantasy leagues this season.
