Tony Battie (knee) may see his first minutes of the season next week.
Battie has had knee trouble since early in the preseason and has been taking things slow. It's highly doubtful that he will be worth considering even if he does see minutes in the Nets lineup.

Rafer Alston and Yi Jianlian were back on the practice floor Tuesday, having both recovered from minor injuries. Josh Boone (ankle) did not, but he's slated to be the backup center in Wednesday's opener, with Tony Battie definitely out.
Devin Harris has also gone through three full practices without injury, and says his team is "ready to go."

Nets big man Tony Battie will have an MRI on his knee Tuesday.
Battie missed some time with a sore knee this preseason -- he returned to action, but obviously wasn't feeling right. He doesn't have fantasy value, but his absence could clear a few more minutes for Josh Boone.

Eduardo Najera (hip flexor) and Tony Battie (knee) were both limited in Sunday's practice.
Najera did non-contact work, and Battie made it through half of practice before shutting it down. Neither of them will have an impact in fantasy leagues.

Tony Battie came back from a knee injury and had seven points and three boards in Friday's loss.
He's never had fantasy value in the past, and we don't expect that to change this year.
