Vince Carter hit just 10-of-29 shots Friday, but finished with 26 points, six rebounds, six assists, two blocks and two 3-pointers in a win at Boston.
Carter will probably be inconsistent when other Magicmen get hot, but he's still a must-start fantasy play until further notice.

Vince Carter hit 11-of-23 shots and two 3-pointers for 29 points, five rebounds, a steal and a block in Wednesday's home loss to the Cavaliers.
Carter has been bothered by a sprained ankle but looked fine tonight. Now we have to see what the return of Rashard Lewis does to his numbers when Lewis comes back from a 10-game suspension on Nov. 16.

Vince Carter, who had been ruled out for Tuesday's game earlier in the day, made the decision to play just before game time, and also chose to come off the bench after missing Monday's practice.
"I got a text from Tom (Smith, trainer) in the afternoon that said to make it official that Vince is out," coach Stan Van Gundy said. "Then, I got here to the arena...and Vince said he was going to go give it a shot and see how he felt. He made the decision not to start." Carter catches heat for not being a warrior, but the truth is he plays when he can.

Vince Carter (ankle) came off Orlando's bench on Tuesday and had 15 points, four rebounds, two assists, one steal, one block and zero turnovers in 25 minutes.
Carter didn't even go through shootaround in the morning and his availability was a surprise to his own team. He shot just 5-of-16 but looked spry and should be inserted into your active lineups -- his backup gig was likely a one-shot deal.

Despite missing Tuesday's shootaround, Vince Carter surprisingly might be able to play Tuesday against the Bobcats.
Carter did some agility drills and says his ankle feels "good," and that it's up to Coach Stan Van Gundy whether he plays or not. It sounds like Carter wants to play; for now, consider him a game-time decision.

Vince Carter didn't participate in Orlando's shootaround on Tuesday, which means he won't play against the Bobcats.
The Magic have only nine healthy players, as they are without Carter, Ryan Anderson (sprained ankle), Adonal Foyle (right knee surgery), and Rashard Lewis (suspension).
