Tyson Chandler finally returned from his foot injury on Tuesday, coming off the Bobcats bench for five points, five rebounds and two turnovers in 10 minutes.
Nazr Mohammed is a better offensive player, but Tyson is a superior defender (particularly in the pick and roll). We expect a timeshare to persist all season, and so far this season Chandler hasn't given us much reason for optimism. Use him with caution, and only as a boards & blocks specialist.

Nazr Mohammed finished Saturday's loss to the Hornets with 15 points, five rebounds and one block in 26 minutes.
Not a bad follow-up to Wednesday's huge 23 & 17 game. As a starter Nazr has averaged 9.8 points on 56% shooting, 5.7 rebounds and 0.9 blocks despite playing just 20 minutes per game. The impending return of Tyson Chandler is a bit concerning, but clearly Mohammed doesn't need many minutes to be effective.

Tyson Chandler (foot) put in a full practice on Friday for the first time since being diagnosed with a stress reaction just before Christmas.
Chandler does not anticipate being activated for Saturday's game, but his return is not far off. Still, his role remains to be seen. The Bobcats are actively shopping for a veteran big man and Nazr Mohammed has actually played decent as a starter. To make matters worse for Chandler, the Bobcats have gone 13-8 since he's been out. We're not expecting big things.

Nazr Mohammed was a man on a mission Wednesday, lighting up the Lakers for 23 points, 17 rebounds and a block.
It's obviously a season-high in points for Mohammed and it was the best game he's played in recent memories. He had nine offensive rebounds against the Lakers' massive front line and was making fadeway jumpers. Before we go overboard, remember that Nazr was averaging about 19 mintues per game as a starter coming into this one. Don't overreact to this fluky performance, especially with Tyson Chandler's return on the horizon.

Bobcats starter Raymond Felton was held to just eight points and three assists on Monday, while Nazr Mohammed and Boris Diaw each had six points and four rebounds.
Stephen Jackson scored 23 points and Gerald Wallace added 17 & 10, but it wasn't enough to get a road win against the resilient Blazers.

The Kings are interested in acquiring another big man but their options appear limited.
They aren't going to mortgage the future for a big-name player, but centers like Samuel Dalembert or Nazr Mohammed could be realistic targets. Just one more reason not to trust Spencer Hawes' long-term value this season.
