Andrew Bynum and Lamar Odom both saw reduced minutes in Pau Gasol's season debut on Thursday, playing 24 and 25 minutes, respectively.
Bynum scored 11 points with eight rebounds and a block, while Odom scored 11 points with eight rebounds and two assists. These numbers are more in line with what we expected before Gasol's hammy acted up, and there will be better nights, but hopefully you sold high when you had the chance.

Pau Gasol (hamstring) will make his season debut Thursday against the Bulls.
He still isn't sure he's 100%, but he said his hamstring felt "great." Coach Phil Jackson said Gasol would play around 25 minutes Thursday. His return will put Lamar Odom back on the bench, and is also likely to affect Andrew Bynum's touches in the low post.

Pau Gasol made it through a full practice on Wednesday without setbacks and remains likely to make his season debut on Thursday.
"I felt great today," Gasol said. "I don't want to jinx it, but everything felt great today. I don't see any reason why I wouldn't be able to play [Thursday]." Gasol is expected to rejoin the starting lineup right away, moving Lamar Odom back to the bench. In addition to adversely affecting Odom's production, Gasol's return is likely to affect Andrew Bynum's low-post touches as well.

In the ongoing soap opera regarding Pau Gasol's injured hamstring, it is being reported that he "may" practice this week.
Coach Phil Jackson said that he has been without "pain" for five days, and he has advanced to light court work. As the ambiguity surrounding these reports becomes almost comical, with theories about Gasol's true status abound, owners need to be patient and remember what a summer of Team Spain basketball will do.

Lamar Odom had eight points, 12 boards, seven assists, a steal and a block on 4-of-5 shooting in Thursday's easy win over the Suns.
It's probably time to sell high on Odom, as he'll likely take a stats hit once Pau Gasol returns from his hamstring injury. Don't give him away, but use his nice season stats to move him for a player who will stay at a high level all season.

When asked if he had a target date for Pau Gasol's return from a hamstring injury on Wednesday, Phil Jackson said, "No. We're starting to look toward Christmas, though. Some time out there."
We're guessing/hoping that the oft-sarcastic Jackson was exaggerating somewhat, and a perhaps more realistic report comes from Kevin Ding of the Orange County Register, who writes that Gasol won't play on Thursday or Friday, and may not appear in any of the five Lakers games that follow over the two weeks after that. If there's a positive note for fantasy owners here, it's that the Lakers' schedule does only have five games combined in Weeks 4 and 5. In the meantime, owners should sit tight and hope that the news on Gasol improves in the coming days.
