 Al Horford-F/C- HawksAug. 30 - 10:44 am et
The Hawks might offer Al Horford a contract extension this summer, to prevent him from becoming a restricted FA next year.
Atlanta has most of their team's core locked up for multiple years, with the notable exceptions of Horford and Jamal Crawford. For what it's worth, Hawks writer Mark Bradley feels "There’s almost no chance two Hawks will be offered preseason extensions at this late date."

 Jamal Crawford-G - Hawks Aug. 30 - 3:50 am et

Jamal Crawford's agent will meet with Hawks GM Rick Sund this week to discuss Crawford's future in Atlanta.
Crawford is asking to either be traded or signed to an extension, as he's entering the final year of his existing deal. He earned sixth-man of the year honors last season (averaging 18 points, 2.1 threes, 3.0 assists and 2.5 rebounds) and the Hawks' bench obviously needs his firepower.

 Jamal Crawford-G - Hawks Aug. 27 - 10:07 pm et

Jamal Crawford has told the Hawks that he either wants a contract extension or to be traded by the team before the start of the season.
Crawford asked for an extension several weeks ago, but has yet to hear back from the team. He's entering the final year of his contract and given the reputation of Hawks ownership, it's anyone's guess as to how this is going to end. Crawford was money off the bench last season, and the Hawks would clearly be a better team by keeping him around (and happy).

 Brandon Roy-G/F - Trail Blazers Aug. 17 - 7:55 pm et

Brandon Roy appeared in a rap video with a pro-marijuana message and has since apologized, saying he didn't know that the footage being filmed would be used in such a way.
"It's something I shouldn't have been involved in," he said. "I don't smoke marijuana. I don't think kids should do it. I'm against those things. I just feel really bad that that's something that's associated with my name and my family." He went on to say it's something he'd prefer flies under the radar. "I think the biggest thing is I don't want to shine a lot of light on the video because it's something that I don't want kids watching and saying, 'Hey, Brandon Roy was in there.'" An admirable response from Roy, and one in which the Blazers are probably satisfied with. Jamal Crawford also makes an appearance in the video.

 Jamal Crawford-G - Hawks Jul. 27 - 9:29 am et

Jamal Crawford has requested a contract extension from the Hawks, sources tell ESPN.com.
Crawford is heading into the final year of a contract that will pay him $10 million. His value couldn't be much higher after an exceptional season that saw the gunslinger take home Sixth Man of the Year honors. The Hawks may be hesitant to give him an extension with the future of the CBA up in the air, but they also know Crawford would attract serious interest if allowed to hit the open market.

 Al Horford-F/C - Hawks May. 6 - 11:09 pm et

Al Horford hit 9-of-13 shots for 24 points and 10 rebounds against Dwight Howard in Thursday's Game 2 loss to the Magic.
Horford did everything he could to help the Hawks win, and Atlanta held a halftime lead. But Joe Johnson hit just 5-of-16 shots for 19 points, and may be in the process of playing himself out of a max-contract in these playoffs. Josh Smith scored 18 points, but didn't block a shot, while Jamal Crawford chipped in with 23 in the loss. The Hawks may squeak out a win or two in this series, but don't appear capable of beating the Magic four times out of seven.
