 Devin Brown-G/F- HornetsNov. 10 - 1:04 am et
Hornets shooting guard Devin Brown started Monday's game and was very impressive -- he had 25 points on 8-of-14 shooting, with five 3-pointers, five rebounds, two assists, three steals and just one turnover.
Former starter Morris Peterson has been deactivated, and Brown may have solidified his spot in the starting five. If you need a boost in 3-pointers and steals, give him a look -- just don't expect nights like this to be routine.

 Marcus Thornton-G - Hornets Nov. 7 - 3:21 pm et

Marcus Thornton, who recently made his NBA debut, could be starting at shooting guard for the Hornets in a couple weeks.
Morris Peterson has been removed from not only the starting lineup, but the entire rotation, allowing Thornton to backup new starter Devin Brown. Brown hasn't exactly torn it up in the past, and coach Byron Scott has already said he'll turn to Thornton if Brown isn't playing well after six games. No need to move on Thornton just yet, but get him on your radar.

 Morris Peterson-G/F - Hornets Nov. 7 - 3:07 pm et

Morris Peterson has lost his starting shooting guard job to Devin Brown, Byron Scott announced on Saturday.
Brown's first test will be a tough one, as he'll face Kobe Bryant and the Lakers on Sunday. Peterson will be on the inactive list. "It's a 2-4 start and I'm not really getting anything out of Mo at the starting two guard," Scott said. "It just might be by committee right now; give Devin a chance then six games from now, maybe give Marcus (Thornton) a chance. Sadly, Bobby Brown, who has been playing very well, is locked into a backup point guard job.

 Darren Collison-G - Hornets Nov. 4 - 1:46 pm et

After a 1-3 start to the season, Coach Byron Scott hinted that he might soon make changes to the lineup.
Scott declined to give specifics, but, when asked about rookies Darren Collison and Marcus Thornton, he replied "The things I think they can give me are all very positive. Hopefully in the next week or so, they’ll get an opportunity to get out there and play." When the rookies make their debuts, they will take some of the minutes and shots normally taken by Morris Peterson and Bobby Brown. Stay tuned.

 Morris Peterson-G/F - Hornets Oct. 27 - 9:11 pm et

Morris Peterson has won the Hornets starting SG job, but he'll have to make his shots to fend off Marcus Thornton and Peja Stojakovic.
"Whoever is at that position there is pressure,'' said coach Byron Scott. "If you are not making shots, I've got to find someone else - it's that simple.'' Peterson shot 9-of-30 from the field in the preseason and fantasy owners should keep an eye on this slow-burning position battle.

 Morris Peterson-G/F - Hornets Oct. 22 - 12:26 am et

Morris Peterson will start the season-opener at shooting guard for the Hornets.
He's beaten out rookie Marcus Thornton and veteran Peja Stojakovic for the job, but we still don't trust him much.
