Drew Gooden got hot with Erick Dampier out on Monday, coming off the bench for 24 points, 10 rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block and 41 minutes. He made 8-of-14 FGs and 8-of-8 FTs.
It took less than two minutes for the Mavs to sub Gooden for fill-in starter Eduardo Najera, and they never looked back. The main thing to remember in fantasy leagues -- in 12 games without Dampier this year, Gooden has averaged 11.7 points and 10.8 rebounds.

Eduardo Najera will start in place of injured Erick Dampier, who is out with a knee injury on Wednesday.
Najera isn't likely to have value regardless of how many games he starts, so just make note of the change.

Najera has been battling a back injury most of the season and his appearance was somewhat surprising. He's a veteran "glue guy," prized for his work ethic, and won't offer fantasy value.

Eduardo Najera (back) has yet to play a game for the Mavericks since being traded from New Jersey and doesn't seem to be in a hurry to get in the lineup.
"I feel a lot better now," Najera said. "But we're winning and there's no rush." Even when he does return he shouldn't be in anyone's lineup.

The Mavericks have officially acquired Eduardo Najera in a trade that sends Shawne Williams and Kris Humphries to the Nets.
Najera is a solid veteran and a great teammate, but the Mavericks are mostly interested in the $4.7 million they'll save with this deal. Don't expect him to have any fantasy value.

Yahoo! Sports is reporting that the Nets have agreed to send F Eduardo Najera to Dallas for F Kris Humphries and F Shawne Williams.
Sources say the deal will be completed on Monday, and the Nets are expected to waive the Shawne Williams coming over in this trade, as well as their own Sean Williams, who they simply want out of their locker room.
